A motion-sensing caterpillar toy that starts the chase without you. Your cat gets close, a bite-resistant tail weaves through five openings, and a suction base keeps it locked to glass or tile, all with no batteries to replace.
Most cat toys need a hand on the wand to hold a cat's attention. Weave switches on by itself, sending a fluffy tail darting through the openings of a caterpillar-shaped body the moment a cat gets close, so the chase starts on its own.

A built-in proximity sensor wakes the toy the instant a cat steps within about 4 feet, starting a hands-free play session without a remote, app, or person holding a wand.
A bite-resistant fabric tail weaves in and out of five body openings to copy the darting motion of real prey, the kind of movement that pulls a cat into stalking and pouncing.
A heavy-duty suction cup grips glass, tile, windows, and mirrors, so the toy holds its ground through pounces instead of skidding across the floor.
A 2.5-hour USB charge at a gentle 0.4A powers 2+ hours of activated play, trading disposable batteries for a cable you already own.
Before mounting another electronic toy to the wall, it’s fair to ask whether it’ll actually notice your cat, whether it’ll stay put during a real pounce, how long it runs before needing a charge, and whether the tail survives repeat bites. Here’s how each one is handled.
The suction base is built for smooth, dry surfaces. Wipe the mounting spot clean and dry first, and skip textured, dusty, or greasy surfaces for the strongest hold.
Very interesting toy for a cat. We have a rescue cat and he is very skiddish so he was afraid of it. I gave it to my granddaughter for her cat and he loves it. I was more mesmerized than the cat lol!
I have had this Interactive Caterpillar Cat Toy on my wish list for a while, as it seemed like a fun, unique addition for my 16 cats. I was super excited to try it out, but unfortunately, my crew, along with my mom’s kitties and a client’s cat, just did not show much interest.
Specs & Details:
Design: It features a motion-activated sensor that detects movement within about 4 feet.
Mounting: It is designed with a suction cup base to stick to smooth surfaces like glass doors, mirrors, or ceramic tiles.
Power: It is USB rechargeable (takes about 2.5 hours for a full charge) and comes with a spare feather tail attachment.
My Experience:
While I can clearly see the appeal, it is decently made, features unpredictable movement to mimic prey, and is a very clever concept, it ended up being a miss for all 19 cats I tested it with. It requires a very smooth surface for the suction cup to hold properly (the glass shower or oven doors worked best for me).
Even though my cats did not bite, the material seems sturdy enough for those who do. It did not work for my home, but I do not want to give a bad review because every cat is different. I would recommend keeping the packaging just in case, or perhaps donating it to a local rescue if your cats do not take to it. Interestingly, I actually think my dog who passed at 15 would have had a blast with this! It is a well-designed toy that is definitely worth a try if you have a cat who enjoys active, motion-based hunting games.
This interactive caterpillar toy has been such a fun addition to our cat room. The whack-a-mole style movement makes it much more interesting than a basic feather wand because the cats have to watch, stalk, and react to the toy as it moves.
The motion-activated feature is especially convenient. Once the cats interact with it, it can keep the game going without me having to constantly sit there and operate a toy. That's a huge bonus when I want to give them some enrichment while I'm busy doing other things.
I really like the strong suction cup base, too. Cats can be surprisingly enthusiastic when they decide a toy is prey, so having a stable base keeps the toy from immediately getting dragged across the room.
The USB rechargeable design is another plus. I don't have to keep replacing batteries, and it's easy to charge when it needs a little more power.
The combination of movement, feathers, and unpredictability makes it great for encouraging natural play behaviors like pouncing, batting, and chasing. Some cats will be more interested than others, of course, but the motion definitely caught their attention.
Overall, this is a really fun interactive cat toy. The motion activation, suction-cup stability, and rechargeable design make it convenient for humans, while the unpredictable movement gives cats a more engaging play experience.
Fun toy for the younger cats. Older ones didnt seem to interested, but they are not into most toys at there age.
Works well and all but went 4 stars cause it is much louder than I would have thought. I think that is one reason the older cats didn't like it. Took a bit for the younger ones to want to get close to it because of that. But after a day or 2 they did seem to get more use to it.
Build seems ok so far after this short time. Wish there was another way of mounting other than just the suc cups.
Extra flingy thing but not sure what will happen if the main string breaks. No back up for that. Time will tell on how long that will last.
Other than that though, younger cats do play with it and thats all that matters.
Cats love it, though I had to hang it by a string as the suction cups really didn't work. Really quiet and fun.
