Petsumi started with a simple frustration. Most pet gadgets either looked like medical equipment on the kitchen floor, or they could only handle dry kibble, never the wet and raw food our cats actually eat.
So the search began for a feeder that kept wet food cold, a fountain that stayed clean, a litter box that handled itself, each one good enough to leave out in a room you care about. When the right products were hard to find, we decided to bring them together under one name and one standard.
That standard is simple. A product earns a place at Petsumi only if it solves a real daily problem, works reliably, and looks like it belongs in your home. If it does not clear all three, it does not make the cut.
Most automatic feeders only manage kibble. We start with wet, raw, and freeze-dried food, then design around keeping it fresh until your pet eats.
These devices live in your space, so they should look like they belong there. We choose pieces with clean lines and calm colors, not blinking control panels.
When you send a message, a real person reads it and writes back. No scripts, no ticket bouncing between strangers, just a thoughtful reply to your actual question.
We do not stock a thousand interchangeable products. Each one is chosen, tested, and kept only while it keeps earning its spot in the lineup.
Before anything goes on the site, it lives with real pets in a real home, through full feeding cycles and daily cleanups.
We measure what it really does, then write it down plainly. If the cooling lasts 8 hours, we say 8 hours, not all day.
If a product breaks early, frustrates owners, or stops being worth it, we drop it. The lineup stays small on purpose.
