A normal brush sends loose fur into the air and onto your floor. TidyCoat brushes and vacuums in one pass, so the undercoat goes into the cup instead of all over the house.

The deshedding and grooming heads loosen the undercoat while 10 kPa suction pulls it straight into a 2.5 liter cup, the way a barber's vacuum clipper catches clippings. Most of the fur ends up captured instead of floating onto your couch and clothes.
