My two domestic shorthair tuxedo cats love to eat, but they're messy eaters. They push some food out of traditional cat food dishes. I haven't noticed any food fall out of these bowls. I'm very impressed and pleased. I only wish I'd have bought these sooner. My older cat tends to get sick easily and often. There's been a reduction in his vomiting, but not a complete elimination, but I wasn't expecting these bowls to be a magic bullet for my cat's sensitive stomach.

The hole on the bottom of the bowls doesn't concern me. My older cat is a bit bigger, so I may make a little stand with a nail or screw sticking up as a peg for the bowl so it doesn't slide around. Right now, I put his bowl on top of a shoebox for added elevation, but he'll eat from his little sister's bowl, which stays on the floor. The little sister is shorter, so the elevation of the bowl on the floor is fine for her. Buy these bowls, you won't regret it. I only wish they offered them as single bowls where you could add as many as you want and pay a little less for each one added. I'd like one more bowl for their dry food, which I keep out for them all the time, but I don't need two more bowls.

Very easy to use, my cat was scared of it at first until it realized, FOOD! I got it for 2 cats but it was missing a collar. MAKE SURE THERES TWO COLLARS !

I have two cats and I have to keep the one out of the other's food so that I can measure it and this helps greatly. My cat was a little hesitant at first but she got used to it quick and uses it all the time with no problem.

I recently received the Automatic Cat Feeder and must say I really like it! As a cat owner myself I find that making sure my cat has regular and nutritious meals that do not disrupt his routine can be a challenge, especially if I am away from home for long periods of time. But this automatic cat feeder has been a lifesaver.

I have two cats and often find it hard to keep them away from each other’s food when using a regular automatic cat feeder that rotas with an open top or is a timed dispenser however, this feeder features a microchip collar tag sensor that identifies the cat on approach. It then dispenses a portion at specific intervals throughout the day. This means that they feel safe to eat their food without the intimidation of one another and get their correct portions for them.

The feeder is powered by both AC adapter and batteries, making it able to position anywhere within the home as well as ensuring it doesn’t run out of charge if I am away overnight (something I really worried about with my previous automatic cat feeders).

The feeder reads a unique microchip embedded in the cat's tag on the collar provided meaning only your pet with this tag on can access the food at one time. One feature I really liked is that I can program the feeder to dispense the exact amount of food for each meal preventing overfeeding as I know my cat are prone to eating excessively when I am not there to monitor their feeding times. As well I enjoyed that I could set the feeder to dispense meals at specific times throughout the day making sure my cat is eating at the correct times and not consistently eating. One more thing appreciated was the fact that the food bowl and all the components are easy to remove for cleaning.

The only downfall to this product is that the feeder is slightly bulk so is somewhat difficult to store when not in use and it is only available in one colour but that is just me being picky with my home decor. Apart from these I really like the feeder, and it has been a huge help enabling me to stay away from the house for a length of time.

Have 2 of these as both of my cats are on different diets. Works well so they can’t eat each others food plus helps with weight control. A bit of a challenge resetting the tag if it becomes unlinked and instructions don’t help much. Would definitely buy again though

My one cat has knocked this feeder off the counter 3 times - it continues to work. That gets full marks from me!

Love it!!!! Got this for my senior kitty after getting her two front teeth removed so that the other cats wouldn’t eat all of her soft food!! Setting it up was a breeze compared to my other feeders!

She started using it right away! No issues. And she can’t tip it. It stays in place!

I give it a five stars but I wish it would be some kind of raised bowl and the command buttons are in a awkward spot. If they would be on top of the feeder it would be perfect. But all and all good😊

Okay, this fancy RFID feeder is honestly so handy for automating the feeding of these pudgy felines. It’s got this collar sensor that makes sure only the right cat gets their food, which is perfect since my two have totally different diets. Before I had this feeder, all of the food would get eaten by one of my little fatty's.

I place out regular food as well as the special high protein food, and my morbidly obese/saggy-bellied boy has no self control. So naturally he eats anything in sight, until it's all gone!

You can set it up with four feeding modes and a timer, so I’m not stuck managing their meals all day. Works great for wet and dry food. Only thing is it takes up a chunk of space in my small kitchen, but it’s worth it for how smooth it makes feeding time. If you’ve got a couple cats, this gray one with the two collars is an awesome choice.
