A fountain is only as fresh as its filter. As the media clogs with hair and grit, flow slows and taste fades, and a fussy cat notices first. Fresh filters fix that.
Each set pairs a cartridge of non-woven fabric and ion-exchange resin with an activated carbon pad. Together they trap hair, grit, and sediment, soften the water, and pull out chlorine and odors so every sip tastes clean.
Filters do their job by filling up, so change one every 2 to 4 weeks depending on how many pets drink and how dusty your home runs. A fresh filter keeps the flow strong and the water clear instead of slimy.
Pick a 3, 6, or 9 set pack so you are never caught with a clogged filter and no spare. Stocking up means you swap on schedule rather than stretching a tired filter that slows the pump and dulls the taste.
These are cut for the PureSpring Ceramic Fountain, so they seat correctly and seal the way the pump expects. No trimming, no guessing, just drop the old one out and the new one in.
Each set is one cartridge plus one carbon pad, good for 2 to 4 weeks. Here is roughly how far each pack carries you, based on changing on schedule.
Filter life varies with the number of pets and water quality. Change sooner if flow slows or water looks cloudy.
